The condition known as excema, is the body's way of letting you know that something you are doing is not quite working for you. You body is giving you a signal. This is the case for most skin problems. The exception to this is if you burn your skin or have a contact dermititis. The name gives the root cause away here. 'Contact'. Something we are coming into contact with is causing our skin to react so in this case, removing the external item from our environment, usually clears the conditon up. My cousin who was a trained chef was affected so badly with this condition had to find another career as through a process of elimination, he discovered that many of the foods he was coming in contact with were causing his irritation.
I could write for a long time about the possible causes of the internal source however, that's for a blog post.
Most excema is incredibly itchy and it's pretty impossible to stop scratching once you've started. This inturn produces more instamine which makes you itch even more..Hence, why the you go to the chemist to get an anti-histamine. The anti-histamine will work, but only temporary.
Nature has an answer and it's called chickweed and this one of the plants that I have used in my emulsion. There is both a herbal concoction and a herbal macerated oil so you're gettinig a double hit!
You need to stop the itch first and foremost therby reducing the inflamation which inturn allows the skin's barrier to begin healing.
I hope you find my excema emulsion helpful but don't forget, it's an inside job!
